Suit or tuxedo?
A tuxedo has satin details and is the classic choice for an evening or formal wedding. A suit works for daytime, outdoor and semi-formal weddings, and you'll wear it again to work and other events. Both are yours to keep. We don't rent.
Dress for the season
- Spring and summer: lighter colors and patterns, like the Peak Lapel Summer Suit, the Light Windowpane Three-Piece and the Pastel Windowpane Three-Piece.
- Fall and winter: richer fabrics and patterns, like the Tweed Three-Piece, the Glen Plaid Three-Piece, the Windowpane Suit with Collared Vest, and our velvet tuxedos.
The groom stands out, the party matches
A common approach: the groom wears a three-piece or a tuxedo with a different lapel or vest. The groomsmen wear one matching style in a color that goes with the wedding. Our groomsmen styles come in 5 to 17 colors, so everyone can match. Ring bearers and junior groomsmen can match too, with our boys' suits in sizes 2T to 20.
Plan ahead
Get the groom and groomsmen measured about 6–8 weeks before the wedding, so out-of-town guys have time to order. Running late? Our stores usually finish alterations the same day, and 2 days at most.
